To enable debug logging for the add-on and retrieve generated logs, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the gear icon in the upper right and choose "System" from the drop down menu that appears.

  2. In the Administration screen, click on "Logging and Profiling" on the left side under "Troubleshooting and System Support"

  3. Scroll down to the "Default Loggers" section and click on the "Configure logging level for another package" item.

  4. In the dialog that appears, enter "com.mobilitystream" in the "Package name" field (without quotes), select the TRACE logging level, and click the "Add" button.

    In the Administration screen, click on "System info" on the left side under "Troubleshooting and Support"

  5. Scroll down to the "File Paths" section and note the location of atlassian-jira.log
  6. Image Added

  7. Perform the actions in Jira that are expected to generate log file entries for the add-on.

If you need to send a support zip to MobilityStream, continue with these steps below:

  1. Return to the Administration screen and click on Troubleshooting and support tools on the left side under System support.
  2. Open the atlassian-jira.log file.
  3. Search the log file for a timestamp from around the time when you performed step #7. The information from the add-on will include lines that contain "mobilitystream".Image Removed

  4. Click on Create support zip near the top.

  5. On the Create support zip screen, click the Customize zip button, tick the check boxes as shown below, then click the Save button.

  6. Click on the Create zipbutton to generate the zip file. When the process is complete, click on the Download zipbutton to save the file to your computer.

  7. Send this file to MobilityStream support.
